Community2Community (C2C) Presents
The 6th Annual "Hope and A Future" - A Celebration of Haïti (HAAF)
BRIC Arts Media House, 647 Fulton Street, Brooklyn, NY. Celebration begins at 12pm.
Proceeds from this year's Celebration go to the construction of a permanent K-7th grade community school, the completion of the C2C Water Initiative and the promotion environmental stabilization.
The "Hope and A Future" - A Celebration of Haïti (HAAF) is an inspirational, cultural experience. Our Celebration is a fresh paradigm, where for one Saturday afternoon in May, attendees from the Tri-State area will actually engage with the work C2C does with their Partner Communities in Petit Goâve, Haïti. HAAF is an opportunity to come alongside C2C's Partner Communities, C2C Neighbors and project partners to connect and build forward together - empowering the Partner Communities to be self-sufficient by working with them. We encourage you to come out to HAAF, move from being spectators to becoming participants in C2C's work, and accepting the invitation to be a part of something greater than yourself by helping to create self-sufficient communities in Haïti. The HAAF Celebration consists of an interactive International Marketplace (the C2C Ayiti Marché) and a multi-media, theatrical production.
This year’s celebration theme is "C2C Neighbors: Present and Ready to Engage!" A C2C Neighbor believes in the mission and vision of C2C to “create self-sufficient communities by working with the community” and is a monthly, committed contributor to seeing the C2C Haïti Restoration and Transformation Pilot Project (HRTPP) to completion. Our goal is to raise 100 C2C Neighbors! http://community2community.info/c2c-neighbor/
